Philly Woman, 41, Killed When Car Hits Trees Off Atlantic City Expressway

A 41-year-old woman from Philadelphia was killed when her car veered off the Atlantic City Expressway and struck several trees, authorities said.

The unidentified woman was driving an Infiniti westbound in Winslow Township at 6:22 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 when the car veered off the roadway at milepost 37.6, Detective Jeffrey Lebron, a New Jersey State Police spokesman, said.

The driver’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation.
